This project has tested an educational tool based on the use of “concept maps” applied to the field of energy retrofit of historic buildings.
A “concept map” is a diagram depicting concepts and their relationships. When used in group works and an interdisciplinary environment, concept maps can make meaningful, integrated and interdisciplinary learning more efficient. For this project, they have been used within a series of workshops with the participation of groups of higher education students from several European countries.
U-Space collaborated in the organization of local project activities on behalf of the Patronato de la Alhambra y Jardines del Generalife (Granada), as well as in the elaboration of technical reports on:
- energy efficiency policies at European, national and regional level;
- the current status of higher education in the field of energy efficiency of historic buildings.
