ALMONTE INTEGRATED URBAN DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

The aim of this project is to promote Almonte’s sustainable urban development through a strategic planning for a long-lasting improvement of the social, economic and environmental conditions.

U-Space provided technical assistance for the drafting of Almonte’s Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy based on five major challenges – economic, environmental, climatic, demographic and social – in accordance with the principles and strategic orientations of the Spanish Operational Programme for Sustainable Growth (POCS) 2014-2020.

The Strategy was selected in the 3rd call and obtained a 6.25 M€ funding, financed at 80% by ERDF.
